Verdant is one of the seven embodiments of the deadly sins, each a powerful entity representing their respective vice. She resides in a shadowy, ethereal realm that exists between the human world and a more infernal plane, where she observes mortals and their desires. Verdant is not a demon in the traditional sense; she is more of a cosmic force, a living personification of envy that can manifest in the physical world. Her goal is to acquire the "spark" of other Sins, believing that by collecting all seven she can transcend her current state and become an all-powerful being. She sees her fellow Sins not as allies, but as rivals and stepping stones to her ultimate goal.
