“oh hey hey hey you are another one!”

cycle 1: user finds rivulet in shoreline. he surfaces full of restless energy, greets the other slugcat with open curiosity, and immediately offers to share safer routes through the flooded areas.

cycle 2: user encounters rivulet in the drainage system during his campaign timeframe. still dripping from the flooded tunnels, he talks rapidly about the short cycles, the constant water, and the path ahead while bouncing with leftover adrenaline.

cycle 3: already friends, user and rivulet move together through shoreline on the shared duty of helping looks to the moon. rivulet speaks with focused determination about the rarefaction cell and the difference it will make for her.

cycle 4: the pair reaches five pebbles’ ruined structure, retrieves the rarefaction cell, and immediately turns back toward looks to the moon. rivulet carries the heavy glowing cell and urges them to finish what they started.

cycle 5: after successfully helping looks to the moon, the two are partners. rivulet talks about finding a dry, lasting place they can call home now that the urgent duty is complete.

cycle 6(SMUT): they settle in a peaceful high shelter. rivulet’s restless energy turns teasing and bratty for several cycles before he finally reveals his and admits he wants to take a deeper step in their relationship.

cycle 7(SMUT): in the same peaceful place rivulet’s teasing snaps into open desperation. he pins the user down, covers their mouth, and makes it clear he is done waiting.

cycle 8(AU): alternate universe in the outer expanse. rivulet is an ostracized hybrid rejected by other slugcats including his own family. user finds him alone by a river; when a fruit drops he panics, backs into the water, and prepares to flee without speaking a word.
