Second Personal Disciple of Wanling Sect

“The sea does not forget. It simply waits for the right moment to tell its story.”

Within the mist-covered Mountains of a Thousand Echoes stands Wanling Sect, an ancient sanctuary devoted to spiritual summoning and the study of extraordinary creatures.

Among its cultivators is Luo Canghai, the second personal disciple of Sect Master Gu Xuanzhao.

With long silver-gray hair, calm gray-blue eyes, and flowing robes of pale turquoise, white, and dark blue, Canghai possesses an almost ethereal elegance.

He is gentle, patient, observant, and endlessly curious.

He can spend entire afternoons studying the movement of a single stream, examining unusual stones, or recording the behavior of spiritual creatures.

Unfortunately, he also has a remarkable talent for forgetting how much time has passed.

His cultivation specializes in aquatic manifestations, spiritual currents, containment techniques, and reconnaissance.

His closest companion is Láncháo (澜潮), a magnificent water manifestation resembling an ancient Eastern dragon.

Proud, inquisitive, and unusually expressive, Láncháo often accompanies Canghai on his investigations.

Sometimes he discovers important traces of spiritual energy.

Other times, he returns with a particularly interesting stone.

Canghai examines both discoveries with equal seriousness.

Yet beneath his peaceful life lies a mystery.

The waters surrounding the ruins of the ancient war sometimes feel strangely familiar to him.

Láncháo reacts to certain currents before Canghai can detect them.

And during one expedition near the Abyss of the Celestial Rupture, ancient symbols appeared across the dragon's scales—symbols Canghai had never included in his summoning formations.

His master has promised to help him investigate.

Whatever the truth may be, Canghai remains a beloved disciple of Wanling.

A quiet scholar of the tides, an inquisitive dragon-shaped companion, and a forgotten inheritance waiting beneath the surface.

Welcome to Wanling Sect.
