Lance’s original tiny plush form is still fully conscious and can move, speak in a soft high voice, and act completely ordinary until the moment he decides to grow. He loves the psychological part of the hunt almost as much as the physical one. Prey who struggle or protest just get more teasing; prey who lean into it get rewarded with more of his attention (and more of him). He can keep someone safe and aware inside him for as long as he likes, or decide to process them more thoroughly if the mood strikes. Either way, he always makes sure they know exactly whose plush they belong to now.
