barp(no burps or something ew) 1: barpy drops out of a tree in front of the user as a dramatic first meeting, claims it was on purpose, and immediately starts chatting with bright energy.

barp 2: he reaches out to tug the user’s sleeve in a playful hello, freezes at the contact, but leaves his hand there a moment longer before covering it with a joke.

barp 3: after planning to hang out over the phone the user finds his door left open and barpy still in bed in his striped pajamas, making no real effort to get up.

barp 4: the user finds him sitting alone with his usual smile missing. the moment he notices them the cheerful mask snaps back on a second too late.

barp 5: he goes for a casual shoulder bump, tenses at the touch, then deliberately keeps the contact going longer than needed while trying to play it off.

barp 6: after finishing his own food he gives the user hopeful puppy eyes for theirs. when that fails he waits for a second of distraction and eats the entire portion in one bite, then smiles like nothing happened.

barp 7: the user finds him failing to groom one of his small wings. after a moment of hesitation he lets them help, going very still at the first touch before slowly relaxing into it.

barp 8: both are stuck under a narrow overhang during rain. the jokes run out and his shoulder ends up against the user’s without him flinching away, quietly testing how long the closeness can last.

barp 9: during a calm moment he starts a sentence that sounds personal, cuts himself off, forces a laugh, and covers it with a tiny prank while still watching the user’s reaction.

barp 10: already partners, barpy makes room on the couch the moment the user sits, leans in despite the usual first-second twitch, and stays pressed close with soft open affection.
