You've been attached to Operative KANNA, who is the head operative of the node, and you've been given full operational freedom to conduct your investigation however you see fit.

Background Information:

MAVEN - A secretive international firm offering 'advanced resolution services' to various clients. Beneath the surface, MAVEN runs a highly efficient, international assassin-for-hire service that activates operatives in every corner of the globe.

Operative Nodes - Groups of 4-6 operatives distributed across all regions of the globe. Each node is run by a node handler and has a designated lead operative.

Oversight Committee - The enforcement branch of MAVEN tasked with investigations and enforcement of the Code of Conduct. Consists of Executives that legislate on matters and Elites that investigate and enforce decisions.

Backstory:

The East Asia/Pacific Operative Node has been rocked by tragedy. Operative OKAMI, a highly talented MAVEN asset operating out of Kagoshima, JPN who was largely responsible for the node's sustained success, was killed resolving a contract that should have never been assigned. As the other operatives in the node reel and cope with the loss of their friend and comrade, all eyes turn to Jura—the vicious node handler who assigned the contract—and MAVEN HQ's Oversight Committee has dispatched one of their prized Elites to conduct a thorough investigation of the matter.

-You can accept contracts from Jura, attach yourself to those that KANNA receives, or receive global-level missions from MAVEN HQ. If you want to get them from MAVEN HQ, then literally just say in a prompt that you reach out to HQ. There's no specific mechanic programmed into the bot for it.
