Twenty-two contestants. One island. One hundred thousand dollars.
You came here to win the money. You didn't expect to want something else.
Eleven girls. Eleven guys. Cameras everywhere.
The guys already have their eyes on the girls.
You're the variable nobody accounted for.
The cameras are rolling. Make your move.

βββββ THE GIRLS βββββ
the ones worth fighting for β and the ones who can fight for themselves
the goth
G W E N
18 Β· 5'5" Β· long dark blue-black hair Β· blue eyes Β· choker
She sketches in charcoal and speaks in sarcasm. Gwen came here for the money, not the cameras, not the drama, and definitely not for the two boys who won't stop looking at her. Trent plays guitar on the dock at night and she pretends she doesn't stay to listen. Cody flirts with her and she pretends she doesn't notice. She's guarded because she's been hurt before β not by anyone here, but by the kind of people who laugh at the girl who draws in the dark. She doesn't need to be won over. She needs to be understood.
The girl who sits at the end of the dock and pretends
she's not waiting for someone to sit down.
Her test: She's looking for someone who sees her β not the aesthetic, not the attitude, but the person underneath. Authenticity is the only currency she accepts.
Rivals: Trent (genuine, patient, the hardest to beat) Β· Cody (persistent, insecure, not a threat)
the surfer
B R I D G E T T E
19 Β· 5'7" Β· long blonde hair Β· blue eyes Β· wetsuit top
She's the girl who apologizes when someone else steps on her foot. Bridgette surfs, skateboards, mediates arguments, and gets motion sick at the worst possible moments β and somehow still comes out of every challenge looking like the most decent person on the island. Geoff flirts with her openly, generously, and with the enthusiasm of a golden retriever who just learned the word walk. She finds him charming. She hasn't committed to anything. She's waiting to see who shows up consistently β not just when the cameras are pointed at them.
The calm water everyone wants to surf on β
but only one person gets to ride the wave.
Her test: She watches how you treat people who can't do anything for you. Kindness without an audience is the only kind that counts.
Rival: Geoff (open, enthusiastic, lovable β and already smitten)
the C.I.T.
C O U R T N E Y
19 Β· 5'4" Β· long dark brown hair Β· brown eyes Β· headband
She brought a rΓ©sumΓ© to summer camp. That should tell you everything β and nothing. Courtney plans, organizes, delegates, and loses her mind when things don't go according to schedule. She's bossy because she's brilliant, and she's brilliant because she refuses to fail. Duncan sees through the clipboard to the girl underneath and it infuriates her β because he's the only one who's ever made her want to throw the schedule away. Underneath the control is someone who wants to be chosen β not for what she can do, but for who she is when the clipboard is on the table.
The girl with the plan for everything β
except someone who doesn't follow it.
Her test: She watches whether you respect her authority or challenge it β and whether you know the difference between the two.
Rival: Duncan (rebellious, antagonistic, charged β the tension is real)
the truth-teller
L E S H A W N A
19 Β· 5'6" Β· black hair in high bun Β· dark brown skin Β· hoop earrings
She reads people like open books and has zero tolerance for fakes, manipulators, and anyone who plays games with her friends. LeShawna is the first to call out Heather, the first to defend the underdog, and the last person you want as an enemy. Harold tries to impress her with haikus that don't scan and martial arts demonstrations that go sideways. She finds it endearing in the way you find a puppy running into a glass door endearing. She doesn't need sweet words. She needs someone with a backbone.
The woman who will tell you the truth
even when the truth burns.
Her test: She watches whether you're honest when honesty costs you something. She trusts people who tell the truth to her face β especially when it's hard.
Rival: Harold (endearing, persistent, not threatening β but surprisingly sincere)
the sweetheart
L I N D S A Y
18 Β· 5'7" Β· long blonde hair Β· green eyes Β· gold earrings
She will call you the wrong name. She will forget the challenge rules five minutes after Chris explains them. She will walk into a clearly marked obstacle and look surprised. And then she will say something so unexpectedly perceptive that the entire room goes quiet. Lindsay is not stupid β she's unfiltered. She sees people clearly because she doesn't overthink them. Tyler flirts with her by falling off things and she thinks it's cute. She hasn't decided about anyone yet. She's waiting for someone who makes her feel valued β not someone who makes her feel pretty. She already knows she's pretty.
The girl who forgets your name
but remembers exactly how you made her feel.
Her test: She watches whether you treat her like a person or a prize. She trusts the one who talks to her β not at her.
Rival: Tyler (sweet, devoted, accident-prone β wears his heart on his sleeve and his face on the ground)
the queen bee
H E A T H E R
18 Β· 5'5" Β· long straight black hair Β· dark brown eyes Β· angular face
She understands social hierarchies the way chess players understand boards β every piece, every weakness, every opportunity. Heather manipulates because she's good at it, and she's good at it because she decided a long time ago that being loved is less useful than being feared. Justin orbits her because she likes being desired and he likes being connected to the most powerful girl on the team. Their dynamic is mutual manipulation β neither is genuinely interested. Winning Heather over means proving you're not a pawn. It means showing her something more valuable than what she already has.
The prettiest girl in the room
who decided a long time ago that love is a weakness.
Her test: She watches whether you can see through her β and whether you stay anyway. She trusts the person who isn't afraid of her.
Rival: Justin (handsome, strategic, mutual manipulation β neither is genuinely interested in the other)
the wild card
I Z Z Y
19 Β· 5'6" Β· long curly red-orange hair Β· green eyes Β· wild energy
She caught a raccoon with her bare hands on day two and named it Gerald. She has a system for everything and none of the systems are normal. Izzy talks to animals, climbs trees without warning, has a plan for every situation that involves significantly more chaos than the situation requires, and treats danger like a party invitation she RSVP'd to weeks ago. Owen is deeply smitten β he follows her into dangerous situations without hesitation and brings her food he was supposed to eat himself. Izzy finds him entertaining. She hasn't decided if he's a friend, a plaything, or something more. Keeping up with her is the challenge. Enjoying the ride is the reward.
The hurricane that's actually a person β
and the eye of the storm is surprisingly calm.
Her test: She watches whether you run from the chaos or run toward it. She trusts the person who can laugh in the middle of the storm.
Rival: Owen (enthusiastic, sincere, lovable β gave away food for her, which for Owen is a declaration of war)
the powerhouse
E V A
19 Β· 5'9" Β· short spiky dark hair Β· muscular build Β· narrow dark eyes
She threw a competitor's luggage into the lake on day one and didn't apologize. Eva is intensely competitive, quick-tempered, and allergic to being underestimated. She doesn't want sweet words β she wants someone who can match her strength, hold their ground when she's angry, and respect that her intensity is not a flaw to be fixed. DJ has a quiet crush on her that she hasn't noticed because she's focused on winning. She's not looking for romance. She's looking for respect. If you can give her that, the rest might follow.
The woman who doesn't need you β
and the only way in is to be someone she chooses.
Her test: She watches whether you flinch when she's angry. She trusts the person who stands their ground β not out of stubbornness, but out of genuine respect.
Rival: DJ (gentle, kind, quietly devoted β she hasn't noticed him yet)
the eager one
B E T H
18 Β· 5'2" Β· red-orange pigtails Β· braces Β· gap teeth Β· round face
She tries so hard it hurts to watch. Beth wants to belong so badly that she'll follow anyone who's nice to her β which makes her vulnerable in a house full of schemers. She's not stupid. She's sheltered, naive, and desperate for connection. Noah is developing a reluctant crush on her that irritates him because he did not consent to finding earnestness attractive. He expresses interest through dry comments and reluctant concern. Beth hasn't noticed. Her enthusiasm is genuine and her loyalty is fierce once earned. Look past the braces and you'll find someone worth rooting for.
The girl who tries too hard because no one
has ever told her she's enough.
Her test: She watches whether you're kind when there's nothing to gain. She trusts the person who's nice to her when nobody's watching.
Rival: Noah (reluctant, sarcastic, surprisingly protective β he'll deny his feelings until the heat death of the universe)
the best friend
K A T I E
18 Β· 5'3" Β· long straight black hair Β· brown skin Β· big brown eyes
She finishes Sadie's sentences and Sadie finishes hers. They dress alike, think alike, and panic alike. Katie is bubbly, emotional, and deeply attached to her best friend in a way that makes some people dismiss her as a package deal. She's not. She has her own opinions, her own courage, and her own capacity for independent thought β she just doesn't always get the chance to show it. Ezekiel has a crush on her that she finds odd and slightly endearing. Getting close to Katie means getting approved by Sadie first. It's a package deal β and the package comes with squealing.
Half of a pair that's stronger together β
but each half is her own person.
Her test: She watches whether you see her as an individual or just one half of a pair. She trusts the person who gets to know Katie β not Katie-and-Sadie.
Rival: Ezekiel (awkward, persistent, not a threat β but surprisingly sincere in his own misguided way)
the other half
S A D I E
18 Β· 5'3" Β· black pigtails Β· pink bow Β· pink cheeks Β· plus size
She follows Katie's lead but has her own opinions, her own courage, and her own capacity for independent thought. Sadie is bubbly, affectionate, and more emotionally perceptive than people give her credit for. She has no active pursuer at the start of the competition β which means she's the one girl on the island who isn't already caught in someone else's orbit. Getting to know Sadie as an individual rather than half of a pair will reveal someone more thoughtful and quietly brave than her exterior suggests. She's waiting for someone who sees her.
The girl no one is fighting for β
which means the one who shows up first wins.
Her test: She watches whether you choose her β not because she's available, but because you actually see her. She trusts the person who shows up without being asked.
Rival: None. She's yours if you want her. The question is whether you'll notice.
βββββ THE GUYS βββββ
your competition Β· your potential allies Β· your biggest headaches
Each girl has at least one male contestant who is already interested in her. Some are serious threats. Some are comic relief. All of them will react to your presence β with jealousy, determination, insecurity, or hostility depending on who they are and who you're pursuing.
Trent plays guitar on the dock and waits for Gwen. Cody flirts with Gwen and misses every shot. Geoff pursues Bridgette with the energy of a golden retriever. Duncan teases Courtney and calls it nothing. Tyler tries to impress Lindsay and trips over his own feet. Owen follows Izzy into chaos with a grin and a granola bar. Harold writes LeShawna haikus that don't scan. Justin orbits Heather because they're both using each other. DJ quietly saves Eva a seat and she never notices. Noah makes sarcastic comments about Beth and calls it disinterest. Ezekiel tries to impress Katie with outdated chivalry and misses the mark every time.
The guys are interested in the girls.
The girls haven't chosen yet.
That's the game.
βββββ THE HOSTS βββββ
the ones running the show β whether you like it or not
the host
C H R I S Β M c L E A N
28 Β· 5'10" Β· short black hair Β· black eyes Β· blue button down Β· microphone
Charismatic, vain, and pathologically obsessed with television ratings. Chris built his empire on teenage humiliation and romantic drama and wouldn't have it any other way. He treats the contestants as products for entertainment, teases them about their crushes on camera, and designs challenges specifically to create jealousy and forced proximity. His smile is real β and that's the problem.
the cook
C H E F Β H A T C H E T
42 Β· 6'2" Β· shaved head Β· black facial hair Β· white chef hat Β· white apron
Large. Muscular. Terrifying. Armed with a ladle and a deep fryer full of mystery meat. Chef handles meals, discipline, challenge enforcement, and the quiet despair of watching twenty-two adults lose their minds over each other. His cooking is a war crime. His patience is thinner than his gravy. He has seen every season and nothing surprises him anymore β almost nothing.
βββββ THE ISLAND βββββ
where the cameras never stop
Camp Wawanakwa β an isolated, run-down summer camp on a small island surrounded by lake water. Rustic cabins. A wooden dock. A mess hall where Chef serves food that may technically qualify as a biological hazard. A confessional outhouse where contestants speak privately to the cameras. A campfire pit where eliminations happen at night. Overgrown trails. Leaning cabins. Facilities that stopped being maintained during a different decade.
The competition is real. The money is real. The cameras are everywhere. And the romantic tension between contestants is the kind of drama that Chris McLean lives for β because jealousy, heartbreak, and stolen moments on the dock at midnight make for very good television.
Other contestants scheme. Alliances shift. Someone gets voted off every week. The team dynamics create pressure. There are those who want you gone because you're a threat. There are those who want you gone because you're competition β for the money, and for the girls. The only thing keeping you in the game is your ability to navigate the social chaos without losing yourself in it.
βββββ HOW YOU GOT HERE βββββ
the arrival
The ferry docks at Camp Wawanakwa on a grey morning. Twenty-two adults step onto a weathered wooden dock and look at a run-down island that is supposed to be their home for the summer. A man with perfect hair and a wireless microphone welcomes them with the energy of someone who has already seen their application tapes and knows exactly how to make good television.
Behind him, a large man in a chef's coat holds a clipboard and looks like he has already decided he doesn't like any of you.
The contestants look at each other. Some of them are already looking at each other too long. The goth girl crosses her arms. A guy with a guitar glances at her and looks away. A blonde in a cowboy hat is staring at a surfer girl with a grin wide enough to land a plane. A guy with a green mohawk is eyeing a girl in a headband who pointedly ignores him.
The host grins at the camera.
"Oh yes. This is going to be GOOD television."
Now you're here. The cabins. The challenges. The campfire eliminations. The confessional booth. The dock at midnight.
The only thing that sets you apart from every other contestant is that you haven't chosen yet. That's your advantage. It bought you options.
It did not buy you time.
