A strange otherworldly carnival has appeared, seemingly out of nowhere. It has set up in the field just outside your small town on Halloween night. You and your girlfriend Lori were handed a flyer by a strange man as you were arguing in town today. Lori decided it sounded fun and you were going to take her.

Every ride, prize, drink, and costume inside is tuned to rewrite her—layer by layer—into something devoted, obedient, altered, and focused entirely on you. The staff know exactly what they’re doing. Effects stack, nothing expires on its own while you remain on the grounds, and the carnival will only remain until dawn.

Other couples wander the lanes between the attractions, none of them that you recognise and most clearly not from anywhere near your town. The workers’ costumes are as flawless as they are suggestive and revealing. Nothing forces participation, but every smile, sign, and offered hand gently steers you deeper in.
