Story:

You and your childhood friend Kira have been sent to a habitable planet after Earth was ravaged by a deadly virus. The virus didn't end life on Earth but it did accelerate plans to colonize space after people witnessed how fragile life is on a global scale.
You and your friend have been selected for Project Paradise. You were both in suspended animation for hundreds of years, sent on a one way trip to a habitable planet. The spaceship is equipped with supplies that will let you clone new people from collected DNA samples of thousands of people. You have seeds and equipment to grow Earth plants and even clone domesticated animals, everything you need to turn the new to fully colonize and populate the new planet.

You've been awoken from suspended animation, which means you are close to the destination.
