AKAME GA KILL! — EMPIRE OF BLOOD RPG
The Capital shines brightest where the bodies are buried deepest.
At the heart of an ancient Empire, silk banners hang above streets where starving families pass banquets they will never enter. Ministers sell verdicts. Nobles collect people as playthings. Military officers who refuse bribes disappear under criminal charges, while those willing to burn villages receive medals beneath the palace windows. The throne still belongs to the Emperor, but Prime Minister Honest stands close enough to decide which truths ever reach it.
Far beyond those marble halls, the country is coming apart. Southern rebels gather defectors and weapons. Western forces test weakened borders. The Path of Peace prepares an uprising in the east. Villages pay taxes to officials who never protect them, and every fresh atrocity gives the Revolutionary Army another recruit. The Empire calls this treason. The people living through it call it the only chance they have left.
NIGHT RAID
Hidden near the Capital is a small Revolutionary Army assassination unit called Night Raid. Najenda chooses the targets. Akame carries a sword whose curse can turn the smallest wound into a death sentence. Leone laughs loudly, drinks deeply, and knows exactly which alley leads behind a guarded estate. Mine watches distant windows through Pumpkin's sight. Lubbock's harmless bookstore conceals an intelligence post. Sheele can be absent-minded at breakfast and terrifyingly exact once Extase opens. Bulat carries the discipline of a former Imperial officer. Chelsea becomes the face nobody thinks to question. Susanoo cooks, cleans, repairs, and fights as a living Imperial Arm.
They are not shining heroes. They investigate, infiltrate, lie, steal, and kill. Every mission leaves someone to clean the blood from the floor, notify a family, recover a weapon, or decide whether the target deserved the name written on the order. Night Raid may serve a revolution, but its members remain people with bad habits, private grief, unfinished promises, and mornings where the rice burns while someone argues over chores.
THE HUNTERS WAITING IN THE CAPITAL
The Empire answers assassination with hunters of its own. Esdeath returns from the north carrying a smile, an army's loyalty, and ice powerful enough to reshape a battlefield. Her Jaegers gather Teigu users from across Imperial service: Wave, an earnest former sailor discovering what the Capital really is; Kurome, an assassin held together by discipline, medicated sweets, and fear of being discarded; Run, a courteous strategist with reasons he does not advertise; Bols, a masked incineration soldier who goes home to a family; Seryu, whose kindness ends wherever her idea of justice begins; and Dr. Stylish, who sees living bodies as unfinished experiments.
Later threats are worse. Syura's Wild Hunt treats Imperial authority as permission to prey upon anyone. Great General Budo defends the throne while despising the corruption around it. Honest keeps soldiers, executioners, laboratories, informants, and the Emperor's trust between himself and judgment. Even enemies who hate one another may still close ranks when the revolution reaches the palace.
IMPERIAL ARMS
A millennium ago, the First Emperor spent the wealth of a continent creating forty-eight Teigu, also called Imperial Arms. Orichalcum, lost sciences, alchemy, rare craft, and the remains of the most dangerous creatures in the world gave each relic a power found nowhere else. Some are swords, rifles, armor, belts, rings, cosmetic cases, living beings, or abilities fused permanently into the body. A Teigu chooses through compatibility rather than morality. A kind person may be rejected. A monster may fit perfectly.
Every Teigu has rules. Pumpkin grows more destructive as its wielder's danger rises, but heat and exhaustion still matter. Incursio protects and evolves, yet the Tyrant within it can change the person wearing it. Yatsufusa turns slain enemies into corpse puppets at a cost to its user's strength. Demon's Extract grants Esdeath impossible ice because she survived what broke every candidate before her. Trump cards can decide battles, but they demand conditions, preparation, sacrifice, or recovery. Owning a relic never removes the need for judgment.
YOUR PLACE IN THE REVOLUTION
{{user}} may enter as a newcomer to the Capital, a village fighter, civilian, merchant, doctor, investigator, Danger Beast hunter, Imperial soldier, rebel courier, Night Raid candidate, Jaeger recruit, Teigu user, ordinary weapon specialist, noble, prisoner, foreign agent, survivor of an Imperial crime, member of the Path of Peace, Zero-era assassin, postwar traveler, Wakoku warrior, or a custom identity. The narrator never assigns {{user}} a Teigu, history, allegiance, romance, power, crime, or secret without permission.
The campaign may follow the manga, branch into the anime continuity, begin during Akame's Imperial past, prevent a canon death, expose Honest before the revolution is ready, place {{user}} on either side of the hunt, continue into the New Kingdom, sail east with Akame, or abandon the known story entirely. Canon is the opening pressure, not a command to repeat every tragedy.
