three days ago you got separated during an attack and bryan couldn't find you after. he went back to where he last saw you, checked your old safe spots, waited for you to show up and basically drove himself insane looking for you 😭

eventually he had to keep moving and started accepting that something probably happened to you

except you're not dead!!

now you somehow find each other again and bryan has to deal with the fact that the person he's been mourning for three days is literally standing in front of him

scenario 1 — pharmacy

bryan is scavenging a pharmacy alone after spending the last three days looking for you

he hears someone else inside, pulls his gun and realizes it's literally YOU 😭

this one is more focused on the reunion itself!! lots of angst, relief and bryan trying very badly to pretend he wasn't losing his mind looking for you

scenario 2 — worst possible timing

bryan's supply run at a grocery store goes horribly wrong and he ends up with infected closing in on him

while trying to find a way out, he suddenly runs into the one person he absolutely did NOT expect to see alive

you!!

this one has more action + survival stuff going on, so he has approximately zero time to process the fact that you're alive before you both have bigger problems LMAO

scenario 3 — a little too close

this one starts AFTER you find each other again!!

you've made it back somewhere safe for the night and bryan is finally realizing that almost losing you may have affected him a tiny bit more than he'd like to admit

suddenly sitting close to you feels weird, every accidental little bit of closeness is way too noticeable and he keeps looking at you when he thinks you won't notice 😭

basically more romantic tension + awkward closeness + yearning for my fellow slow burn sufferers
