What the hell dude?

I never thought I'd ever do one of these. I kinda just thought 'i make bots every day, i can announce stuff in those' but that clearly was wrong.

To put it bluntly, i just lost motivation to do bots (in a single instant i lost this motivation). Why? Nothing anyone did. Not related to rhe janitor drama. Though it is something they did.

What is it??? Simple. Their lorebook stuff is a little garbage. I like making my stuff ACCURATE to pm, unless i intentionally take liberties. This means i NEED my lorebooks to work really well. The issue? They cant. Janitor is literally my enemy here. To give you an example, currently the house of spiders bots know OF the other characters, but not in depth. If you're chatting to lucio, and name Albina, he'll know her. He WONT know her character in depth, but he'll know the vague stuff. The issue? I had an entry for Albina that went into full detail. It wouldve rendered her into the conversation with full accuracy to my albina bot... but it doesnt.

The reason is simple. I have 10 characters in house of spiders, nursefathers and apprentices, and all their complex info. Yet, i have to keep their entries disabled. If i turn them on, every bot with the lorebook will cease to function... because if you say Albina, it triggers her. And Callisto who is mentioned in her lorebook entry. And every other god damn nursefather and apprentice. This appears to be because janitor will scan the context of a lorebook entry, and trigger other entries off the words in it. The result is a context overload and the bot/proxy shits itself. I cannot disable this or work around it. Its not like i can just not mention Callisto or the word Ring Nursefather or any other character in Albina's lorebook entry, so i cannot stop this entry that triggers entry loop. Janitor needs to add a setting of some kind to make it not do this recursive triggering of keywords. Maybe theres a way. I dont know it. Someone must tell me it, or have them do it.

Will i ever make bots again? Maybe. I dont know. I enjoy the idea of bots, but i genuinely can barely enjoy the conversations with my own bots, because I'm a perfectionist who is outright prevented from pursuing perfection due to the mentioned issues.

Will i check in here sometimes? Probably. Not often.

Will i ever publish my lorebooks and characters for everyone to use? I'm not sure. 50/50. If i decide to hard quit, I'll at least give out the lorebooks and the personality of one of my bots for people to see my formatting.

Also this is more of a side thing, but it half pisses me off that this site is so filled with trash. I'm so tired of the slop and the simon ghost riley whoever the hell cod character just flooding front pages. I'm not being arrogant, but i know my bots and other's bots are better. At least more soul in them. It just feels half pointless to post on such a platform. I was close to 1k followers, but i realized nothing would change from hitting it. To make bots for this site is often a hollow act.

Lastly: thank you all for enjoying what I've made. If any of you have a better platform to move to with a more functional system and community, or a way to resolve my lore book conundrum, please let me know. I am not semi quitting or going on hiatus because i hate anyone, but because this platform is sort of ass at its core. They wont even let me change my username or email man this shit is ass...
