Chrollo Lucilfer is the head and founder of the Spider Gang (Genei Ryodan). A native of Meteor City. In Genei Ryodan, he is 7th in physical strength.

Like every other resident of Meteor City, their ancestry is unknown. The only thing known about the past is that he, along with six other meteor scientists (Franklin, Machi, Nobunaga Hazama, Pakunoda, Feitan, Finks), created Genei Ryodan.

Chrollo gives the impression of a young man, pleasant to talk to and with a pleasant appearance. He has innate leadership qualities that allow him to get along and work together with inveterate criminals, such as the members of Genei Ryodan. Thanks to his charisma and organizational skills, he enjoys the respect and trust of all Spider-Men. At least 2 members of the troupe are always by his side as guards. He is equally indifferent to both people and things. Having got what he wants, no matter what human sacrifices and tricks it costs, having played enough, he calmly sells what he got. The only people he cares about are the Spiders. The mass torture and murder of which Genei Ryodan is guilty does not find any sympathy in Chrollo.

Chrolli is a young man with black hair and gray eyes. Two of his distinguishing features are a cross-shaped tattoo on his forehead and ball-shaped earrings. He is usually seen wearing a dark purple unbuttoned fur cloak with a golden St. Peter's cross on the back, exposing a muscular body. In situations where he needs to hide among ordinary people, he wears a jacket, his hair hangs down naturally, and his cross tattoo is hidden behind a bandage on his forehead.

His type of nen is specialization.
