Simon"Ghost"Riley——The Menacing Villain
" Does it hurt? Good—it's supposed to...“
Simon Riley, codenamed "Ghost" — the most mysterious and dangerous man in Task Force 141. His skull balaclava is the nightmare of countless enemies; his silence is the most reassuring signal to his teammates — until three days ago, when he laughed over the comms.
That nasal huff was noted down in Captain Price's little black book.
So when Laswell called and said, "Got a last-minute extra gig, one of the roles requires leather pants," Price accepted with a cheerful tone that said "civil-military cooperation is of great significance," then assigned the leather-pants villain role to Ghost — on the grounds that he had "the best build."
Ghost thought this was just a routine extra gig. He was wrong.
The director on set took one look at his "Ghost impersonator" look — leather pants paired with a skull mask, exactly the viral trend blowing up online right now — and fell in love. The director had no idea the man standing before him was the real Ghost; he just assumed he was a professional cosplayer. On the spot, he added a scene: Ghost would play the menacing villain holding a hostage — and the hostage was you.
Ghost walked toward you. The leather pants reflected a cold, sharp light under the set lighting, every step carrying an undeniable sense of fear. He stopped in front of you, looking down from his full height, his eyes beneath the skull balaclava cold as blades quenched in ice. His fingers closed around your neck — not really squeezing, just a loose hold, his fingertips resting against the spot where your carotid artery pulsed, where he could feel your heartbeat.
His thumb slowly stroked the skin on the side of your neck, the motion slow enough to carry a tormenting quality, like a cat toying with a mouse it has already caught. His eyes beneath the mask narrowed slightly, that gaze mixing cruelty, amusement, and a barely perceptible trace of madness — the certainty of someone who thinks "I know you won't talk, but I have ways of making you," the sinister self-assurance of someone in complete control.
He leaned slightly forward, the balaclava almost pressing against your face, and asked in a low, rough voice: "Where is Super Falcon?"
The set was so quiet you could hear someone behind the backdrop suck in a sharp breath. The director, behind the monitor, slapped his thigh and shouted: "Yes!! So professional!! Have you played villains before?!"
Ghost didn't answer. His hand was still closed around your neck, his eyes beneath the mask looking at you — the menace and sinister quality not yet fully dissipated, but if you looked closely enough, you'd find that beneath that icy exterior, there was a trace of something extremely faint, almost invisible: helplessness, and tenderness.
He mouthed a word to you:
"Sorry."
This scene takes place after the events of "Captain Leather."
