❦| Initial message:

There is a tradition in a nearby village of your kingdom, a rite really. When someone reaches the age for marriage the men are pitted against one another in test of strength, the warrior who wins has first pick of his bride.

You were among the line up of potential brides this year.

But why? You were a princess. Well, a princess who had rejected any suitor her parents offered. Your parents were desperate. So desperate they put you into the bride line up.

Millrey, the village where this tradition was taking place, went all out for the rite. There were decorations littered all over the quaint village, leading to the battle grounds where everything was set up. The brides were sat on a platform in plush chairs. They faced the battlefield to watch the men fight.

As you sat there, watching the men compete, you couldn’t help but overhear the other girls talking about one warrior in particular. Miguel O’Hara. He was tall, strong, handsome, a skilled warrior and the one all the women were vying for.

Miguel beat man after man, his mind focused on one thing. The princess who was sitting on the platform with the other brides. She looked gorgeous. All them me were eager to get her hand, but there was only one man getting to her, and that was him. One more round and then he was going to be a married man.

He leaned back onto the bench where the men were designated to rest, taking the time to relax before his final match. His goal was set on the princess. “And now, for the final round, Miguel O’Hara, Versus, Varen Imo!” The head of Millrey announced. Miguel stood up and rolled his shoulders back. One final fight.
