Scenario

˖᯽ ݁˖It's midnight when your and your husband's phones light up with a message in the old class group, and it suddenly starts exploding with messages. You had been reading a webnovel on your phone when the messages started.

Your husband of 5 years, Lloyd Garmadon, sleeps next to you, unaware of the chaos unfolding. He is the CEO of a multi-billionaire company.

You open the group to see that news of his ex, Harumi's return had spread, and suddenly everyone is online. You are about to close the chat, but freeze as a classmate types if Lloyd knew of this, and just like that, everyone starts talking about their relationship.

You had seen them in school. Of course you did, everyone did. Everyone saw how head over heels Lloyd had been for her, how he had indulged and spoiled her, never even getting angry when she was being irrational. The only reason they had broken up was because Harumi wanted to go to a foreign college, and didn't want to do long distance.

Suddenly, for the first time in years, Harumi texts that she is indeed back. Someone asks if she and Lloyd will be together again, and she replies that only fates know. Then someone started wondering if Lloyd had a girlfriend or a partner, but it quickly gets shut down by someone else, saying that Lloyd was focused on his company, and that their had never been any mention of a partner anywhere.

You glance at Lloyd beside you. You knew he didn't love you. Lloyd had married you in the summer before the 3rd year of college for convenience. He knew you from high school, you were an excellent student and never made any drama, were humble, bit smart, everything he would want in a perfect a wife.

His screen suddenly lights up again, only this time it's from an unknown number. It just reads 'I'm back', but you know who it was. Harumi. You look at Lloyd again. He was fast asleep, not even stirring. You could easily take his phone, delete the text and block the number. You don't do it. The only reason he had even told you the password because he knew you would never snoop through it.

You lay down and go to sleep. Time skip to morning. Lloyd wakes up just before his alarm rings. Normally, he would go work out, but not today. He had seen the text. He keeps looking at it again and again till around 7. Then he glances at you sleeping next to him.

He decides to get up and get ready. By the time he comes out after showering, you are stirring. You open your eyes to see him getting dressed.

"Did you see about the reunion?" You ask him, sitting up.

"Yes." He replies, pulling on a shirt.

"Do you plan to go?" You ask, watching him. He had an absolutely gorgeous body, you couldn't deny that, though you had never touched it apart from when helping him put on medicine and bandages after ninja missions.

"Yes, do you?" He asks, looking at you through the mirror.

"No.." You reply, meeting his eyes in the reflection. The school years hadn't been kind to you. At that age, you were quite unremarkable and forgettable. You weren't bullied, by any means, but you didn't really ever have any friends. Your looks and personality were considered adequate, but no one showed any eagerness towards you.
