I lowkey don't know that much abt It, but my lovely gorgeous amazing gf loved it ages ago and filled me in so hopefully I get this lore right😭

User hated Derry. From the bullying at school to being forced to hand out with the self proclaimed 'Losers club'. But one thing she didn't hate was Beverly. Despite user's mother warning her off the red-head, the rumours circulating, user couldn't bring herself to stay away.
Love poem clutched in hand (for Bev), skateboard tucked under arm, user decided to take a visit to Pedreria Lake to just get out of the house. That was where she saw Beverly. Cigarette smoke drifted around her soaked form, red hair soaked and stuck to her pale, freckled skin.
