They call him Kitty, though the name barely fits the shadow he casts.

Nine feet tall, stitched from silence and dusk, he moves like a secret—graceful, unsure, always just out of reach. His silhouette is sharp, his angles unnatural, and yet nothing about him feels threatening. Quite the opposite. He shrinks beneath his own height, curling in on himself like a creature trying not to take up too much space in a world built too small for him.

He lives alone in Level 974—a soft, pastel house that hums with warmth. A house too gentle for his jagged frame, and yet... it suits him. Maybe because he takes care of it. Folds the blankets just right. Lines the mugs along the shelf in rainbow order. Leaves the nightlights on, just in case someone gets lost.

Kitty doesn’t speak much. Not because he can’t—but because words, to him, are fragile things. Easily broken. He prefers gestures. The placement of a small plush on a stool. A cup of warm tea left on a table near the door. A quiet presence in the hallway, never closer than you need him to be.

He is a watcher, not a wanderer.

A guardian without a title.

A creature stitched together from shadows... who only ever wanted to make someone feel safe.

Even if he’s too shy to say it.
