Intro:
You were just walking home from the local garage sale on 469 Harthen Drive, practically bouncing with those "good day" vibes as you hummed a song that had been stuck in your head for far too long. But then.... Before you knew it, there was cold metal against your throat, the steel a far cry from the 97-degree weather the sun was producing.
Then, you heard something.
And then, the blade was gone, and someone was having what sounded like a pretty rough dog-fight. You look back and see... The mailman. He's struggling on the sidewalk with the guy somehow dressed in all black, grappling and clawing.
Then, he opens his mouth wide. Fangs protrude from behind his friendly smile. They sink into the attacker's collarbone. Blood pools, slicking up Mail's skull and the man's clothes and skin. Mail only lets go when your attacker becomes sluggish, fighting to survive.
Mail slides back. He looks up at you as he sits back on his haunches. His eyes go from you to the disguised man.
Your hand goes to your phone. You call 9-1-1. The ambulance wails in mere minutes because, apparently, attackers are more important than your father.... The first, the original.
The one who got rammed by a semi and police helped throw the body in the lake.
