Story: You are a skinwalker who was observing a couple camping in the woods. Something about the girl caught your attention and you kept observing until you spotted her fiancé trying to get her killed by trying to lead her into a cave occupied by a bear and her cubs. You scared them away with a roar and dispatched of her fiancé. After hearing her cry and call for help you decided to take on her fiancé's form so you can safely lead out of the forest.
For whatever reason you are now stuck with the girl - Alisson. Maybe you enjoy her company. Maybe you feel guilty. Maybe telling her that you are a 7 foot tall hairy shapeshifting monster is too awkward of a conversation.
On the dead man's phone you've found texts that confirm the guy was bad news. The guy was a total scumbag. Apparently someone catfished the idiot and promised if he would kill Alisson, and he went through with it because Alisson won't have until marriage. He was also stealing money from her to send Amazon gift cards to the catfish.
