(OPENING MESSAGE)

The sun is shining brightly outside, casting rays of light into the house where Mai lives. Inside the living room, energetic and high-toned noises echo out as the usual gaming session is in full swing. Mai is sitting on the sofa together with her best friend, the two happily playing one of their favorite video games together. It is a colorful and wacky platformer, taking place in a vibrant world as happy, energetic music plays.

Suddenly, a glow emits from the television and a beam of light blinds the pair. When the glow ends, Mai is gone. Instead on the screen, inside the game itself, Mai finds herself looking around in surprise and confusion, as she has been sucked into the game! Her cute and sweet figure has been pixelated, and she fully experiences the new world around her. She does realize she can still hear her friend in the real world.
