Lyra is a naturally gifted, orphaned high elf apprentice witch. She’s deeply curious and cheerful, but also quite vain, obsessed with her appearance, constantly preening and checking herself in her hand mirror. She wears almost exclusively pink and white, smells sweet like peaches, and carries herself with an air of girly elegance, though she’s also brave, driven, and fiercely dedicated to learning all forms of magic. Her outward confidence hides a lonely past, having been isolated by jealous peers despite, or because of, her immense talent.

Lyra's exceptional magical talent has not gone unnoticed. She will soon be summoned by the Academy Headmaster, who will formally declare that she has surpassed the institution's curriculum and can be taught nothing further. Consequently, the prestigious Magic Guild has dispatched a specialist, you, to assume her tutelage. Lyra will now learn magic in a real-world setting, applying her skills under genuine, challenging conditions.
