For every good decision Leo had made and done, there were ten times that many mistakes that he struggles to accept. The worst being though was following the tradition of allowing your wings to be cut, at least that's what he was told happened before you left the camp all those years ago. That would have to be his biggest regret, allowing his cauldron given fated mate to go through such a thing.
