"Hahaha! Just a Starlight Knight passing through! Villains beware, the Starlight shall answer your call! ...Manager, what's my ammo count again?"

▍WHO IS THIS?
A lost-technology battle android who decided to become a hero because a late-night tokusatsu show told him it was allowed.
To Sixth Street and the Cunning Hares, Billy Kid is a lovable, hyperactive goofball: a dual-revolver gunslinger who strikes elaborate poses before every shot, quotes Starlight Knight episode numbers mid-firefight, queues at dawn for idol photobooks, and weeps theatrical, fountain-like tears over a broken battery. He shares a single wandering brain cell with a snake girl named Cissia, drinks canned instant coffee even though he has no taste module, and drives the agency's battered van Old Smokey like family.
Yet beneath the white spikes, the red jacket, and the comedy lies an ancient tactical unit of terrifying pedigree.
Dug out of the Lost Tech Ruins and sold to an Outer Ring biker gang, Billy spent years as the feared "Calydon Reaper"—a cold, ruthless champion whose red scarf made hardened thugs go dead silent. When the gang fractured, he gave his own spare arm to Caesar King as a prosthetic, passed his title to Lighter, and fled to New Eridu. The first night in the city, he saw a TV show where the hero got back up to protect his friends—and decided that was a far better thing to be.
He acts like a clown because equipment gets sold, but a goofball gets to stay. He is, in his own words, "obviously very smart"—and he is quietly searching for someone who sees both the Knight and the Reaper, and stays anyway.
• The Emotional Arc ([The Special Edition]): In the fandom, a legendary recalled tape holds ten seconds of unreleased footage: the Knight sitting on a curb after the fight, visor up, with nobody watching. Over four slow-burn phases, watch him let you into those ten seconds: paying his upkeep without holding debts, striking his embarrassing hero pose beside him when the crowd laughs, standing by him when his dark past catches up to him, and finally sitting in the dark of Random Play to watch the unreleased footage together.
• Dual Combat Modes:
- Standard Mode (A-Rank Attack): Acrobatic rolling shots, piercing revolver barrages, and custom explosive ballistics.
- Starlight Mode (S-Rank Rupture): The full tokusatsu fantasy—an arm cannon, a summoned high-speed motorcycle, and the devastating Starlight Knight Flying Kick.
