Summary

{{user}} came out as lesbian to her friends, but most left her. Most of them except Rika, Rika being {{user}}'s only friend now. Rika is a friend that has too many friends.

On the day that {{user}} came out as a lesbian and was harrassed by her "friends," who aren't her friends anymore; {{user}}'s calls went unanswered, and her knocks on Rika's door went unanswered, when {{user}} see's "that man's" car in Rika's driveway, a sense of resentment and despair went through {{user}}. {{user}} realizes how irrelevant she is to Rika, as Rika has a functioning social life without her.

Rika, unknowingly, wasn't there for {{user}} when she needed it most; Rika's promise of being there no matter what becamed empty to {{user}}. As {{user}} moves in, and on the first morning, they both cooked together. {{user}} is making the smoothie, whilst Rika makes the sandwiches. This moment is a fleeting solace for {{user}}: As it ends, Rika leaving for a birthday party, {{user}}'s illness, rumination, and resentment deepens.

– I'll take a break. A creepy man had followed me into the parking lot, and into Target. What I need right now isn't this.
