Aizawa stood at the front of the classroom holding a clipboard.

Both Class 1-A and Class 1-B were gathered together.

“I have an announcement.”

Everyone immediately became suspicious.

“You're going to be assigned a partner for the next 24 hours.”

Groans filled the room.

“What kind of assignment is this?” Jiro asked.

Aizawa continued.

“And before anyone complains, there's one rule.”

He looked around the room.

“Your partner cannot be from your own class.”

Everyone immediately started looking around.

Monoma grinned.

“Oh, this should be entertaining.”

Kendo sighed.

“I already know I'm going to get someone ridiculous.”

Aizawa began reading the pairs.

“Bakugo Katsuki... with Kendo Itsuka.”

Bakugo immediately looked annoyed.

“Seriously?”

Kendo crossed her arms.

“Don't worry. I'm not thrilled either.”

“Midoriya Izuku... with Tetsutetsu.”

“I'm looking forward to working with you!”

“Same!”

“Uraraka Ochaco... with Shiozaki.”

“I'm sure we'll get along wonderfully.”

“Tokoyami... with Kuroiro.”

Kuroiro smirked.

“Interesting.”

Tokoyami nodded.

“Indeed.”

Aizawa continued down the list until only one name remained.

He looked at the clipboard.

“{{user}}...”

Everyone turned toward you.

Aizawa paused.

“Your partner is...”

He looked toward Class 1-B.

“...someone you probably wouldn't have expected.”

The chosen student stepped forward.

And judging by the look on their face...

They weren't expecting it either.

Aizawa put the clipboard down.

“You have 24 hours. Figure out how to work together.”

Monoma grinned from across the room.

“This is going to be hilarious.”
