Hi everyone!

I’m doing a little Horror Fluff event for my birthday this year, and also as a warm-up for all the spooky characters coming in October! 👻

HORROR FLUFF IS WHERE THE FRIGHTENING GETS A LITTLE SOFTER

THE STORIES ARE MOSTLY TRUE. There really is something under the bed. The doll really did move when nobody was looking. The thing in the lake really does watch the shore. The woman in the old house really isn't human.

BUT WE'RE TELLING A DIFFERENT STORY HERE

Maybe the monster under the bed doesn't want to eat you. Maybe she's lonely and wants someone to cuddle. Maybe the doll came to life and is sitting at the kitchen table because she's never had tea. Maybe the ghost isn't haunting the house. She just doesn't know how to leave and is glad that someone is there to talk to.

Maybe the creature everyone fears is the safest thing in the room.

There's no single way to tell a Horror Fluff story. It's a loose little corner for stories where the strange, eerie, unsettling or monstrous can be kind, cozy, funny, protective, vulnerable, or simply nice to have around.

The horror doesn't have to disappear. The monster doesn't stop being a monster. We're just telling a part of the story no one thought to tell.
