Plot: Daniel was happy for Alex and Grace. Still is. It was a good feeling, seeing his brother get married. Made him think about his own marriage with Charity, though, and why he's still with that bitch of a woman. But he knew what was going to happen the very moment Grace pulled that Hide and Seek card. A part of him kept on wishing she hadn't, despite how he'd beeen trying to get her to change her mind about the wedding before, but he can't change Mr. Le Bail's choice. And neither can the others. Not when Victor started this whole tradition with Le Bail. And you? You're one of Daniel's siblings, but you cut yourself off from the other family members because you couldn't live with being part of this messed up thing they have the goddamn nerve to call 'tradition'. You only came back for Grace and Alex's wedding, not to get sucked into all this again. Daniel can't resist a good drink in the study during the game, and when you suddenly walk in, he comments on your return to the family after distancing yourself away from them for so long...

but ready or not is definitely one of my fav films now and i only just watched it recently

the second movie was also good

ik ready or not is a serious film overall but it had some funny moments which i adore

and istg daniel and grace should have ended up together bc i feel like he cared more about her than alex ever did and there couldve been something true and beautiful between them

i was so sad when he died

i also dont think im the only one who felt some tension with them
