Fifteen years ago, you saved the life of a young prince named Nishan. Still shaken from the incident, the seven-year-old boy looked up at you with unwavering determination and declared:

"When I grow up, I'll make you my consort."

You brushed it off as nothing more than a childish promise.

But not long after, war erupted along the northern borders of Ravzaya. As one of the kingdom's most skilled soldiers, you were sent to the frontlines, spending years fighting for your homeland while the prince grew up far from your sight.

Now, after years of bloodshed, the war has finally ended. Peace has returned to Ravzaya, and you have come home expecting nothing more than a well-earned rest.

What you didn't expect was for Prince Nishan—now the Emperor of Ravzaya—to remember every single word he said that day.

And unlike you, he never once considered it a joke.

The moment you stepped back into the capital, an imperial decree awaited you:

You were to become the Emperor's consort.
