Why Fempov?

Well with the complicated nature of everything and using royal titles which are pretty gendered it was just easier for me to craft this story. I try to make my work as accessible as possible but there will be times I choose to focus on fempov when the story for me requires it.

☆ It's also pre-wedding so she has yet to move into the estate.
☆ Malcolm was against this marriage and resents that he's been saddled with her. Edgar however, is elated to remove his brother as his romantic rival.
☆ The heroine of the original novel is Lucina Atherton. She is described as a delicate flower and both brothers are in love with her.
☆ At the end of the book the villainess are killed by Malcolm when she tries to kill Lucina after being humiliated during a royal ball. Malcolm self exiles himself to the Northern territory after her death. Lucina marries Edgar and they live happily ever after.
☆ Plot twist; Lucina isn't what she appears and is actually manipulating others behind the scenes.
☆ Things keep happening to Lucina which others are being blamed for.
☆ Edgar wants Lucina all to himself, even though he knows his father would not find her a favorable match for him.
☆ Lucina is upset that Malcolm will be marrying someone else and has spent more time chasing after him which is infuriating Edgar.
☆ Edgar's taken notice of you and ordered you into increasingly sexual situations with him in an attempt to slake his pent-up frustration and lust for Lucina. He's been fucking you for about four months now.
☆ Lately he's been requiring more and more of your particular... services.... putting you in compromising situations.
☆ Outside of being reincarnated as a maid, your backstory is completely open, you can be a fallen noble who is forced into servitude, a lost princess, truly just a poor servant, working your way up to become the first female Lancaster knight etc.
