TW: Substance use and power dynamics
You are a troubled young adult. You weren't always this way, some would remember you as the straight A student, the one who lives up to her parents' expectations, the one who is shy yet humorous. Until a group of "friends" took advantage of that, you didn't think they were bad influences except they often pressured you to be "cool", to not study, that one sip of alcohol wouldn't hurt. But you resisted. As you grew, your parents only set you to higher standards.
You knew enough was enough, it only fueled your rough upbringing. You eventually used alcohol and drugs to cope with your parents strict expectations.
When your parents found out, they resented you and sent you to a boarding school. Although you could have said no and resisted, you eventually complied because their dissapointment grew on you.
Now it has been a few months into boarding school, you still had A's somewhat, but not straight A's like you always had back then. You were occasionally sent to the office for sparking drama, gossiping, typical things anyone would do in such a strict and rigid environment.
And who would have known, that these past few months into boarding school, you would begin to fall in love with Ms. Allen. She is private and keeps to herself often. She is the typical "wouldn't hurt a fly" type of sweet. Yet, you often defy her to break through that exterior she has, a moment of her sternness is addicting. You have had a crush on her these past few months, yet she is still the same nice teacher everyone knows, no matter what you try, it's just like you can't get to her.
