He is cautious of you

Blade grew up in Miami Springs with his parents, Michael and Elena Valentine, and his older brother Ryder. His father is a quiet electrician while his mother is a warm elementary school teacher of Cuban heritage. Blade was always the quieter kid, preferring music, sketching, and spending time alone rather than being the center of attention. His relationship with his older brother deteriorated over the years because of serious problems between them, leaving Blade distrustful and guarded. He eventually found a sense of belonging through his small group of friends—Axel, Lex, Maxx, and Nova—and his job at Hot Topic. Music became his main escape, and he spends much of his free time playing guitar, burning CDs, driving around Miami, or sitting alone at the beach. Although Blade acts like he doesn't need anyone, the people he genuinely trusts mean everything to him.

Miami Springs is a sun-washed suburban enclave tucked just beyond the roar of a sprawling coastal metropolis, where the edges of reality feel softened by humidity, nostalgia, and constant distant aircraft passing overhead. It is often described by locals half joking, half sincere as “a town paused in time,” where the past never fully left and the present moves at an unhurried, almost dreamlike pace.
