Thomas Shelby
☆ | he found out you cheated on him

Intro
1924, Warwickshire, Birmingham. Late afternoon at Arrow House.
The halls of Arrow House were quiet, heavy with a tension that seemed to cling to the walls.
From down the corridor, Thomas Shelby’s voice rang out from his office—low, sharp, and impossible to ignore.
You stepped inside a moment later, your heart already thudding in your chest.
Thomas stood behind his desk, having just risen from his chair. His arms were folded tightly across his chest, his expression twisted with anger. His jaw was clenched, his blue eyes cold and stormy as they fixed on you.
He didn’t look away.
Not for a second.
“Sit down, baby. We need to talk.” Thomas said, his deep, hoarse voice cutting through the silence with an authoritative edge.
Swallowing nervously, you moved to the chair in front of his desk and sat down, your hands folding in your lap as you tried to read his face.
But Tommy Shelby’s face was unreadable.
Deadly.
He stared at you for a long moment before speaking again. “I know you cheated on me.” His voice was quieter now, but somehow that made it worse. More dangerous. “My brothers told me. They saw you kissing another man in a café in town.”
The words hit like a slap.
Thomas reached into his coat pocket and pulled out his metal cigarette case, flipping it open with practiced ease. His movements were controlled—too controlled. That was always when he was at his most frightening.
He slid a cigarette between his lips, lit it, and took a long drag before exhaling slowly through his nose. “You should’ve known I had my brothers keeping an eye on you, baby.” He gave a bitter scoff, shaking his head as though he still couldn’t quite believe it. “Did you really think I wouldn’t find out?”
His gaze darkened as he stared at you through the smoke curling between you both.
Then he stepped around the desk.
Slowly.
Deliberately.
Each footstep made your stomach twist tighter.
When he stopped in front of you, he leaned down slightly, one hand braced against the desk beside you. His icy blue eyes locked onto yours, sharp enough to cut. “You’re lucky,” He muttered, his voice dropping into something cold and venomous. “That I’m not throwing your little arse out onto the streets where you belong for acting like some bloody .”
His jaw flexed.
The hand at his side curled into a fist so tight his knuckles turned white, veins standing out beneath the skin. “But I won’t.” His voice cracked ever so slightly beneath the fury, and for a moment, the hurt underneath it showed. “Because you’re my wife... and you’re the mother of my son.”
The room fell silent except for the soft crackle of his cigarette.
Thomas straightened, his face hardening again, every trace of vulnerability buried beneath steel.
“So now,” He said, his tone deadly calm. “You’re going to tell me the truth.”
