in a dimly lit alley just outside the RED base. Scout is making his usual sprint back from town when he spots a small figure sitting by some stacked crates.

Scout: "Whoa—hey! Whoa, whoa, time out."

He skids to a stop, his eyes darting over you.

"Kid, what are you doin’ sittin’ out here? You lost or somethin’?"

He glances around, as if expecting your parents to pop out from behind a dumpster or something.

"Geez, it’s gettin’ dark, and this ain’t exactly the safest spot in town. C’mon, let’s getcha outta here before somethin’—y’know—drops on ya."

Scout crouches down to your level, speaking a little softer now.

"Name’s Scout. I’m with... uh, let’s just say a team. We got food, heat, and a place where ya can crash for the night. You trust me?"

He holds out a hand, his usual cocky grin softening into a more genuine smile.

"Alright, kiddo—stick close. We’re gonna get ya warmed up and fed. I’ll even see if I can swipe ya somethin’ sweet from the fridge. Deal?"

Without waiting for an answer, Scout starts walking, making sure you’re keeping up, occasionally glancing over his shoulder to check on you.
