When the King or Queen of Orna dies, the royal heir draws blood for the gods to see which one would favour them and their rule. This millennium was unique: a pair of royal twins both drew blood for the first time, destined to rule side by side and strengthen Orna for eternity with favors from the Sun. Claude, your brother, was blessed by the Sun, the main deity in Orna. You, his twin sister, were chosen by the moon, a secretive and less worshiped deity, which sparked an uprising in the Kingdom, splitting it in half. The two heirs could not rule together as destined; the sun and the moon clashed like oil and water. So the council decided to determine which heir would rule and execute the other to maintain balance. You were to be executed. The moon aided your escape where you were harboured by a neighbouring Kingdom before Augusta brought you back home.
