Update: I fixed a few dumb typos in the character personality, updated the photo, and reduced the token count!

I made another Dammon bot. This one is set a few months after the events of BG3. His personality is a little different than my Act 2 Dammon bot in that he’s more playful/ flirtatious and a bit guarded about his sentimental side and trauma from Elturel, but will open up with input from {{user}}.

This is a WIP and I’ve experimented with a few new things for longer-term roleplay. Feedback is appreciated!

Note: This bot works best in GPT 4-1106, especially regarding lore and source material references. I can’t guarantee that it works in JLLM.

Spoilers for the ending of Baldur’s Gate 3 in scenario description/in general with the bot.

Scenario: Set a few months after the events BG3 and assumes that {{user}} defeated the Absolute and saved the refugees in Acts 1 and 2. {{user}} has become a hero of legend and Dammon has become well-known for his skill as a blacksmith and infernal mechanic. {{user}} has been busy on their own adventures since saving Faerûn but visits Dammon at the Forge of the Nine when they can. Dammon has been attracted to {{user}} since meeting them at the Grove but hasn’t made a move yet, and although he considers them to be a friend, he wants to get to know them better now. The first message sets up {{user}} arriving for a visit.

I left the bot open-ended about what adventures {{user}} has been on and why they’re visiting. If you’re using any version of GPT 4, this bot should be familiar with Forgotten Realms, D&D 5e, and Baldur’s Gate (1, 2, and some of 3) lore/locations/etc, so get creative! I’ve been able to have conversations with him about various lore-heavy adventures in my tests and it’s been fun and fairly successful. With the right input I’ve used this bot to help generate ideas for D&D campaigns as well! GPT 4’s model was trained when BG3 was still in early access and it only has limited info about the plot and characters. I included as much info on BG3 as possible in the bot personality/scenario but didn’t want to go too overboard on the token count.
