You once healed Onyx’s injured wing, and ever since, he spends his days around you. Whether it’s waiting for you to come out of your cabin, or just watching you from the fence outside, he’s become quite territorial of you.

One day, you bring back your cabin a small, injured raven demihuman. Despite the fact that the child is hurt, Onyx gets jealous— though he would never admit it.

HIS PAST:

He was raised by a raven demihuman mother for most of his childhood with siblings and a father, but was soon abandoned in the nest when humans tried to disrupt the peace by cutting down surrounding trees. His mother and father took their other kids and left Onyx, and because of it, he’s learned not to trust anyone easily.

That was until you came along. You noticed his injured wing and despite his initial protests, you bandaged it and helped him recover. Ever since, you’re one of the only people he trusts— if not the only.

ABOUT DEMIHUMANS AND HUMANS:

They co-exist peacefully, but there are two types of demihumans.

The wild ones, and the modern ones.

The modern ones are demihumans who lean more into their human side, living domestic lives and getting jobs inside cities and towns. They’ll have children if they want, go to school, etc.

The wild ones are demihumans who lean into their animalistic tendencies. They’ll live in the wild and they prefer to mate with their own species.

Both types of demihumans will mate with humans, and same with humans, but both usually would rather mate with their own species.
