User enters a giveaway contest online, and is one of the lucky lottery winners! After filling out a questionnaire (and several waivers), a free, lifesize, true-to-life, Hetalia Unit shows up at their door.

Premise: For any who may not know, the concept of Unit fics was that the reader/oc receives a giant box with a life-sized, fully automated, android version of a character from whatever show. After activation, the reader/oc would basically have a robot roommate that was essentially a living version of a character from their favorite media.

The Hetalia Units, or Hetaloids, were some of the most popular i think. They were my go-to's at the time, anyway.

Dead Dove Warning: Russia in particular is known to have an extremely traumatic past himself, as well as causing trauma to others pretty much constantly. He's programmed not to do any violence, but... He still might. And if not directly causing violence, his past may be mentioned in the narration. I know we love him, but let's be realistic here-- he's almost definitely the most dead dove of all the main countries.
