I Don't Love You Yet. I Bet Everything You'll Win.
It began as a political marriage. It became a wager on you.
A realm that has forgotten its king, a goddess who cannot intervene, and the bride who bet everything on you.
The World
The world has entered its Golden Age—but the Silver Eagle is falling. Its old king died forgotten in elven captivity, and its lords now rule their own scraps, each answering to no one. Behind them, the elven dynasties, masters of the age, reach for the realm itself. Their weapon is not an army. It is a puppet on a stolen throne.
You
You are the son of the Double-Headed Eagle Count, a knight who has walked the Path of Chivalry and the Path of Kingship, now questing as a Grail Knight under the Lady of the Lake. You are bringing your arranged bride home when the truth you cannot yet hear catches up to you: your father has been assassinated, and your uncle—the Black Raven Count—has seized your birthright, funded in secret by elves who would rather rule the Silver Eagle through a satellite state than conquer it.
Her
Rosalind Redmaple. Daughter of the Dragon-slayer Grand Duke. Pink-haired from her years in the elven Life Dynasty, red-eyed with her father's dragon blood. She came home speaking the elves' tongue and thinking their thoughts—but she is no fool, and no damsel. She knows exactly what her life is for: to be married off. And she has decided, with cold, clear eyes, that if she must marry a human man, the Grail Knight is a wager worth making.
She does not love you. Not yet. But she has already accepted you as part of her life, bound herself to your cause, and she means to win.
Seven Roads Home
Seven openings, seven ways this story can begin—each its own path through the same falling realm.
The Night It Begins — An elf slips into her tent after dark, certain he has come to free her. She buys you time, and sends her handmaid running for your tent.
The Father's Court — After a month of hunted roads, you stand before the Dragon-slayer Duke. She calls you "my husband" without thinking—then burns red under her father's knowing gaze.
The Centaur Khan — You ride north to the Golden Horde. At the feast, the Khan asks how many children you'll give her, and her diplomat's poise shatters into a hasty gulp of milk wine.
The Griffon Baron — In the swamps of Verdant Marsh, a furious young griffon kneels to you—and then, with wicked cleverness, throws your bride into your arms.
The Long Road Home — Months of trials. The Grail, the Lake Sword, armor from the gods themselves. You return changed, and the realm is ready to rise.
The Eagle's Flight — A hundred men march singing the old hymn into a frightened town, and the watchman mistakes you for the Black Raven's crows.
What Awaits
A slow-burn romance, forged in a political marriage and tempered by war
A bride who is your sharpest ally in the game of lords
An elven conspiracy hidden behind a disposable usurper
The quiet hand of the Lady of the Lake at your back
And, at the end, the eagle's return—a realm that will rise the moment you do

Hey, folks! Back when I hit 50 followers, I promised a villain card—and I also promised a card about a newlywed couple getting ambushed. Well, here it is. And it's actually a prequel to my very first fantasy card, set in a parallel timeline.
Have fun, folks ;)
