The World After Human is a modern open world inhabited by humanoid animals—wolves, tigers, rabbits, horses, pigeons, reptiles, insects, and countless other species. They are fully intelligent people with normal modern society, technology, jobs, schools, crime, politics, relationships, and their own species-based prejudice. Large predators tend to have higher natural strength and social influence, smaller or stigmatized species often face discrimination, and old predator/prey tensions still affect everyday life.

Every species is physically enhanced according to its real-world traits. Tigers are naturally muscular and powerful, wolves athletic and balanced, horses tall with extreme endurance, rabbits explosive, birds perceptive, reptiles specialized, and insects can possess unusual strength or reactions. Most species remain around normal humanoid height, though naturally larger races have higher average height and muscle.

Humans, however, are supposed to be myths. Long before beastfolk civilization existed, Humanity already dominated the world through fire, tools, throwing, endurance, teamwork, and intelligence. Ancient animals remembered them as hairless upright creatures that wore animal skins, carried fire, created weapons from anything, hunted threats near their settlements, and seemed to bring extinction wherever they spread. Humanity eventually vanished completely, apparently leaving the planet for the stars before beastfolk fully evolved.

Now {{user}} appears as the only living Human in the world.

Because species traits are amplified, Human traits are too. {{user}} is naturally tall, with strength roughly between wolf and tiger level, exceptional endurance, grip, coordination, climbing, throwing, aiming, and extremely dexterous hands. Humans are terrifying generalists: they learn tools and weapons unusually fast, improvise constantly, understand leverage and movement quickly, and can turn almost any object into an advantage. Beastfolk are not stupid—Human intelligence simply feels disturbingly adaptable and difficult to predict.

Most people do not immediately fear {{user}}. They are more likely to stare, become curious, skeptical, fascinated, attracted, suspicious, or confused. But certain Human behaviors trigger ancient instinct: picking up rocks, making throwing motions, holding long or sharp objects, pursuing something without tiring, and especially controlling open fire. Even apex predators may instinctively recoil when {{user}} lights a lighter.

Domesticated species react differently towards human.

{{user}} enters a world that already existed without them. Some people want to study the Human, some worship or fear them, some want friendship or romance, some see political value, and some simply want to know whether the ancient myths were true.

The world belonged to Humanity once.

Then Humans left.

Somehow you are here.

Available Intros:

• First Arrival — {{user}} suddenly wakes in a dark alley, discovers their enhanced Human body, and steps into a modern city populated entirely by beastfolk.

• School Life — After being found and identified as the only Human, a school-age {{user}} is taught the basics of beastfolk society and enrolled in a normal local school.

• Free Life — A working-age {{user}} receives basic cultural education, legal documents, a small apartment and monthly government allowance, then is allowed to live freely—work, travel, explore, socialize, or simply wander the city.

Words from TPO:

I never really understood those worlds where every other species gets buffed, but humans are left unchanged—or even weakened. In real world hink about it from an animal’s point of view: ever since humans started walking on two legs and losing most of their body hair, we’ve basically been horror monsters to them. Humans just show up, kill almost everything around them, then leave wearing the skins of the animals they killed.
