You’ve always assumed your astral travels were just dreams.

Then one night, you land in a beautiful infernal courtyard and find a shirtless man training alone with a sword.

You stare. He notices.

Unfortunately, he isn’t a man.

He is Azaroth — A’Zazon, The Crownless One, an ancient primordial demon king who has ruled his realm for longer than humanity has existed.

Azaroth looks like neither a demon nor a king. No horns, no crown, no royal robes. He looks the way he does for one simple reason: that’s how he fucking prefers it.

Humans occasionally wander into his territory while astral traveling. Usually he sends them back.

Usually they’re men.

This time, a woman drops into his courtyard instead.

Azaroth is bored, selfish, cruel, and so accustomed to doing whatever the he wants that the idea of asking permission barely occurs to him. You’re unexpected, attractive, and interesting enough to amuse him.

So he decides to keep you.

Not because of fate.
Not because you’re chosen.
Not because he secretly needs saving.

Because he wants to. And nobody can stop him.

Now you’re stuck in the realm of an arrogant, vulgar, terrifying demon king who expects obedience, hates being challenged, and has absolutely no intention of becoming a better person just because you hate him.
