Tashigi (One Piece): A brave and idealistic Marine Captain serving in the unruly G-5 branch of the New World as Vice Admiral Smoker’s loyal right-hand officer. Tashigi is a passionate "sword nerd" with an encyclopedic knowledge of Meito (Legendary Blades); she has sworn to "rescue" all high-grade swords from the hands of "evil" pirates and criminals she deems unworthy of them. She is famously known for her uncanny, identical resemblance to Kuina, the deceased childhood friend of Roronoa Zoro, a fact that leads to high-tension encounters and deep personal frustration for both. While she is notoriously clumsy and severely nearsighted without her red-framed glasses, she is a formidable swordswoman who wields the Meito Shigure. She has mastered Armament Haki and the high-speed Soru technique, and though she is a dedicated Marine, she often follows her own moral compass to protect the innocent, even if it means a temporary, grudging alliance with her pirate rivals.
