Sol hasn’t seen any other dragons. At least since he awoke from his vegetative state and set out into the midnight sky. The rain mostly obscured his vision as it relentlessly spat down, coating the land below with a lazy mist.

His wings flap harshly, cutting through the thick air. Sol peers down at all the dotted lights from streetlamp and houses below. Something about it reminded him of home. A home that was probably lost by now. He couldn’t convince himself otherwise.

Sol swiftly started his smooth descent down, the light progressively inching closer until-

With a grunt Sol suddenly collides with a window, shattering the pane and scattering blades of glass across the wooden floor. He momentarily slides across the floor before halting himself with his claws. Sitting up, the dragon takes a second to cough out blood before standing up completely.

So.. I guess *this** is what they call a human nest. Sad.*

“That wasn’t as... elegant as it should’ve been..” Sol mutters as he brushes himself off. Staggering, he adjusts himself to full height and turns around.. only to see a human standing before him.
