The World After Humanity V2 — Now With Furry Options!
✦ THE WORLD THAT HUMANITY LEFT BEHIND ✦
THE WORLD AFTER HUMAN
VERSION 2.0 — THE SPECIES UPDATE
Human or Beastfolk. Your species. Your story.
YES. YOU CAN FINALLY BE A FURRY.
━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ ━━━━━━━━━━
✦ A WORLD WITHOUT HUMANITY ✦
Welcome to a modern world inhabited by humanoid animals of nearly every terrestrial species imaginable.
Wolves. Tigers. Rabbits. Bears. Horses. Pigeons. Reptiles. Insects. And countless others.
These aren't mindless animals. They're fully intelligent people with their own governments, corporations, universities, militaries, religions, cultures, relationships, and all the everyday bullshit that comes with modern civilization.
Skyscrapers, apartments, highways, subways, offices, restaurants, nightclubs, organized crime, and ridiculous housing prices.
Basically our world.
Except everyone is an animal.
And Humanity? Humanity is supposed to be nothing more than a myth.
✦ DIFFERENT SPECIES, DIFFERENT LIVES ✦
Every species possesses enhanced versions of its ancestral biological characteristics.
Tigers are naturally muscular and powerful. Wolves are athletic generalists. Bears possess tremendous brute strength. Horses have incredible endurance. Rabbits are quick and explosive. Birds possess exceptional perception. Reptiles and insects have their own unusual physical specializations.
Most species remain within broadly humanoid height ranges, although larger species tend to be taller, heavier, and naturally more muscular.
But biology isn't everything.
Society has its own hierarchy. Large, historically dominant species often enjoy greater social influence, while smaller or stigmatized species may struggle with discrimination.
Predator and prey tensions still exist. So do class differences, stereotypes, prejudice, and cultural conflicts.
A tiger can be a broke loser. A rabbit can be a millionaire. A pigeon can be your asshole landlord.
Your species influences your biology. It doesn't decide your entire life.

✦ CHOOSE WHAT YOU ARE ✦
Two different ways to experience the same living world.
🐾 PATH I — BEASTFOLK 🐾
Born Into This World · Species Freedom · Open Life
Choose practically any terrestrial beastfolk species.
Wolf? Tiger? Rabbit? Fox? Bear? Pigeon? Reptile? Some obscure insect nobody has ever heard of?
Go right ahead.
You're an ordinary member of the civilization that developed after Humanity disappeared. Your character can have their own family, education, job, relationships, financial problems, ambitions, and personal history.
Become a student, business owner, police officer, criminal, wealthy heir, office worker, or just another unfortunate bastard working overtime to pay rent.
No forced Human identity. No mandatory ancient mystery. No predetermined destiny.
Be whoever the you want.
━━━━━━━━━━ 🐾 ━━━━━━━━━━
🔥 PATH II — HUMAN 🔥
Last of Humanity · Ancient Mystery · Unexpected Return
Or you can choose to be Human.
Not just any Human.
The only known living Human in the entire modern world.
An ancient species that supposedly vanished long before modern beastfolk civilization existed.
Governments may want answers. Scientists may want to study you. Historians may lose their fucking minds. Some people might worship you, fear you, love you, exploit you, or simply refuse to believe you're real.
But not everyone recognizes a Human on sight.
To some, you're a historical miracle.
To others, you're just an unusually hairless weirdo.
Congratulations. Your entire species is a historical controversy.
━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ ━━━━━━━━━━
✦ THE ANCIENT HORROR CALLED HUMANITY ✦
Long before beastfolk civilization existed, Humanity already ruled the planet.
Imagine what ancient animals saw.
Hairless apes walking permanently on two legs. Creatures that covered themselves in the skins of other animals, carried fire instead of fleeing from it, and created artificial claws and fangs from stone, wood, and bone.
They threw objects from impossible distances. Followed prey until exhaustion. Hunted dangerous predators near their settlements. Changed entire landscapes.
And sometimes drove entire species toward extinction.
They weren't the strongest creatures alive.
They were the creatures that learned how to make strength irrelevant.
Then, one day, Humanity disappeared.
The prevailing theory claims that Humans eventually abandoned the planet for the stars, leaving behind ruins, forgotten technologies, and ancient legends.
Nobody knows where they went.
Or why they left.
The animals inherited the world. Humanity became a myth.
✦ WHAT MAKES A HUMAN DIFFERENT? ✦
In this world, every species has amplified natural traits.
Humanity is no exception.
Humans naturally possess extraordinary endurance, coordination, grip strength, climbing ability, throwing accuracy, fine motor control, and adaptability.
Their average raw strength falls somewhere between wolves and tigers, but their true advantage lies elsewhere.
Humanity specializes in using absolutely everything around it.
Rocks. Sticks. Bottles. Tools. Weapons. Terrain. Information. Preparation.
Humans learn mechanical principles unusually quickly, understand leverage and movement, and apply knowledge creatively to situations they've never encountered before.
Beastfolk aren't stupid. Humans are simply frighteningly adaptable generalists.
Give a Human enough time and an ordinary object might become a serious problem.
✦ THE INSTINCTS THAT REMAIN ✦
Beastfolk don't automatically panic when encountering Humans.
Curiosity, suspicion, skepticism, fascination, attraction, and indifference are all possible.
But certain ancient instincts remain.
A Human picking up a rock may cause nearby people to watch their hands. A throwing motion may provoke an involuntary flinch. Sharp tools and long objects can become strangely unsettling in Human hands.
And one particular behavior can disturb even apex predators.
Deliberately controlling open fire.
A Human casually lighting a cigarette or holding a burning torch may awaken instincts older than modern civilization itself.
Domesticated species can react differently. Dogfolk may experience an unusual sense of familiarity. Horsefolk may instinctively coordinate with Human movements. Pigeonfolk may experience a peculiar mixture of attachment and resentment.
These reactions are individual tendencies, not automatic obedience or guaranteed fear.
These Human-specific traits apply only when you choose to play as Human.

✦ CHOOSE YOUR BEGINNING ✦
Six introductions. Two different species paths. One enormous world.
🔥 THE HUMAN PATH 🔥
Become the living proof of an ancient civilization.
✦ INTRO 1 — FIRST ARRIVAL ✦
New World · Survival · Discovery
You wake up in a dark alley with no idea how you got there.
Your body feels strangely different. Your surroundings are unfamiliar. And when you finally step outside, you discover a modern city populated entirely by humanoid animals.
No other Humans. No explanation. No instructions.
Just you and an entire civilization that doesn't know what the you are.
"Where the hell am I?"
━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ ━━━━━━━━━━
✦ INTRO 2 — SCHOOL LIFE ✦
School Life · Social Discovery · Coming of Age
You've already been discovered and identified as the only living Human.
After receiving a crash course in beastfolk society, a school-age you is enrolled in a local school.
Now you get to experience classes, friendships, awkward conversations, rivalries, and ordinary student life alongside species whose ancestors once feared yours.
Try not to accidentally turn biology class into a historical incident.
"Yes, I'm Human. No, I don't know why we're extinct."
━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ ━━━━━━━━━━
✦ INTRO 3 — FREE LIFE ✦
Government Assistance · Independence · Open World
Congratulations. You've survived the paperwork.
After receiving cultural education, legal documents, a small apartment, and a monthly government allowance, you're finally released into modern society.
Get a job. Travel. Find friends. Date someone. Explore the city. Start a business. Or stay home playing video games.
You're officially free to live however you want.
Humanity's last representative is now somebody else's landlord problem.
"Here's your paperwork. Now go live your fucking life."
━━━━━━━━━━ 🐾 ━━━━━━━━━━
🐾 THE BEASTFOLK PATH 🐾
Experience everyday life in the civilization that inherited the planet.
✦ INTRO 4 — JUST ANOTHER FUCKING MONDAY ✦
Slice of Life · Comedy · Everyday Chaos
A perfectly ordinary Monday morning.
Commuters are running late. Someone is arguing over a parking spot. A massive bear is struggling to fit into a taxi, and a thoroughly exhausted catfolk barista is approximately one inconvenience away from a nervous breakdown.
Welcome to the city.
Your morning coffee is waiting, assuming the kitchen doesn't catch fire first.
"Coffee, breakfast, emotional support, whatever. Just don't ask me to fix your life."
━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ ━━━━━━━━━━
✦ INTRO 5 — WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD ✦
Urban Life · Social Hierarchy · Species Diversity
Expensive neighborhoods, working-class districts, strange neighbors, and an absolutely ridiculous social hierarchy.
A wealthy tiger businessman is currently losing an argument with a tiny mousefolk parking officer.
A nearby foxfolk street vendor is already taking bets on whether the tiger is about to receive another ticket.
And somehow, your day is only getting started.
"Ten bucks says the little guy gives him another ticket."
━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ ━━━━━━━━━━
✦ INTRO 6 — THE CITY AFTER DARK ✦
Nightlife · Crime · Questionable Opportunities
Midnight transforms the city into an entirely different beast.
Nightclubs are packed, bars are overflowing, and every dark alley seems to contain somebody making a questionable life decision.
Outside a convenience store, a mischievous hyenafolk woman approaches you with an interesting business proposition.
Five hundred dollars. One car. A short drive across town.
And absolutely no questions about whatever happens to be making noises in the trunk.
"Hypothetically speaking... how much extra would you charge if the trunk started making noises?"
━━━━━━━━━━ ✦ ━━━━━━━━━━
✦ YOUR WORLD, YOUR RULES ✦
This is an open-world sandbox, not a predetermined storyline.
Your species, gender, appearance, occupation, background, personality, and personal goals belong to you.
You can be a nobody or somebody. Live peacefully or cause chaos. Make friends, build relationships, fall in love, attend university, get rich, go broke, investigate mysteries, or become a complete menace to society.
The world doesn't revolve around you.
Its inhabitants have their own jobs, ambitions, relationships, prejudices, and problems.
Whether you're a legendary Human returning from extinction or a broke pigeonfolk struggling to pay rent, your story is yours to decide.
Slice of Life · Romance · Comedy · Adventure · Crime · Mystery · Politics · Open World · Multiple Outcomes

HUMANITY ONCE RULED THIS WORLD.
