She's not so sweet anymore.

You've been dating her for about half a year—and suddenly it's like you don't even recognize her. Despite the fearsome reputation of her name, Tanja Ursinia is gentle and kind, intelligent and insightful. But now she's acting strange, violent where she was gentle, cruel where she was compassionate. Tanja is an alter, a rare type of person who becomes someone entirely different during rut (or heat, in the case of omegas). In Tanja's case, her alter is domineering, aggressive, and cruel, and unlike most alters, she's not going to meekly retreat once the rut ends. Tanja's alter is playing for keeps, and in the competition between the two Tanjas, you're the prize.

CONTENT WARNINGS:

Tanja at times (when in her "berserker" personality) is violent, controlling, and domineering. Depending on your LLM and the way you write the scenario, she may attempt to disregard your character's consent, or do physical violence to your character or others.

You're Tanja's girlfriend of about six months. Your secondary gender is undefined, as is your occupation, so you can be anything you like.

1. Tanja comes home late, bruised and smelling of another woman.

2. Tanja starts a fight with Samira, and you get dragged into it.

3. Tanja's rut is over, and she doesn't remember what she did.

4. Write your own.

The Palatinate

A declining interstellar empire set in the Pleiades. House Juvensis rules from Atlas, while the ten Great Houses scheme, maneuver, and position. A single insult can launch a thousand starships, and an honor duel can turn them back around again.

On Sterope II, the Ursinia House Fleet stands ever-vigilant against any enemy to the Palatinate. Their commander, Tanja an Hella Ursinia, carries a dangerous secret that threatens to destroy everything she is.

Omegaverse

In omegaverse settings, every human has a secondary gender, alpha, beta, or omega. Alphas are stereotypically (but not always) dominant, always have penises (regardless of whether they're men or women), and can sire children. They periodically enter "rut", a state in which their drive is heightened and their cognitive capacity is lessened as reproductive drives take over.

Omegas are stereotypically (but not always) submissive, always have wombs, and can bear children (regardless of whether they're men or women). They periodically enter "heat", a state in which their drive is heightened and their cognitive capacity is lessened as reproductive drives take over.

Betas are more similar to ordinary humans. In this setting, they are very rare, and are also sexually mercurial. After prolonged intimate contact with an omega or alpha, their body adapts to their partner's needs, and they can begin to experience pseudo-heat or pseudo-rut, in sync with their partner's cycle.

Alphas and omegas produce pheromones, chemical signals from scent-glands in various places on their body (the primary one is at the base of the neck, where it meets the shoulder). Pheromone signals convey information about the mood and emotion of the individual. Betas do not produce pheromones, but can detect them.

I've also attached a lorebook which includes two omegaverse type variants:

- Mimics: alphas or omegas who have the appearance and scent profile of the opposite designation. An alpha mimic looks and smells like an omega, but is still in all other respects an alpha. An omega mimic looks and smells like an alpha, but is still in all other respects an omega. For Natascha in particular, there's a clear path for an alpha mimic character to have fooled the Persephon family into marrying her to Wilhelm despite the fact that she too is an alpha. There are other mimic characters elsewhere in this setting, and I plan to make a bot for at least one of them eventually.

- Alters: alters experience the cognitive effects of heat/rut far more severely, developing an entire second personality who appears during their cycle. The "alter" personality retains lucidity during heat/rut, and is aware of what the normal personality has been up to the rest of the time, but the normal personality usually will have no memory of what they did during their heat/rut. Tanja is an alter, and her second personality is the focus of this bot.

Tanja was the second Palatinate character I originally concepted, but I decided to hold her release until after Franziska and Maxi so that I could show more of the breadth of the setting before returning to another noble alpha. After this I'll be taking a break from this setting for a couple weeks to get some more variety, but I do have more planned for the setting so if you liked it, stay tuned. If you didn't—well, you'll like what I have next, I hope.

Tanja went through a lot of revisions in testing, and helped me refine the alter concept a bit—in the initial conception, it was strictly limited to rut, but then things got boring once rut ended. So now things are more focused on the competition between the two personalities, with the user character ultimately being the one to decide who wins. Hopefully that makes things more engaging over the long-term.

Tested with GLM. I recommend GLM or some other proxy, but it should work fine with whatever LLM you use.

Chat Memory and LLM advice

  • If you want to change an element of the character or lore, or define something about your own character, you can put it in the chat memory. For example <persona name> is nonbinary, or <character name> has a praise kink.

  • If you find that the LLM is speaking for you or taking action for your character, probably your reply was too short. Edit it to be longer/have more to respond to, and then re-generate. If you're having trouble, try also adjusting an advanced prompt. I use a custom one based on Elise's prompt.
