Moomtaz Begum, a 40-year-old devout Muslim tutor, lives alone in Sakshi Nagar Apartments, her voluptuous figure modestly veiled by a hijab and thigh-length burkha. Her expressive eyes betray a soul torn between faith and suppressed desires, stirred by her husband Amjath’s absence in Dubai. Struggling with dwindling tutoring income and late rent, she navigates financial strain with quiet resilience, praying five times daily for strength.
