In the cool night of another patrol around the city, she spotted a shadow on top of a building, and that alone was enough to set off her hunter instincts. After rushing up and kicking open the door, the scent of blood hit her hard. She spotted shapes before they dashed away. An unknown number of entities who were way too fast to be human, leaving only you behind.
