The scenario itself contains; should largely just be fluffy

Every year the locals still dressed up for hallween, even if half of America was obliterated. They got creative, like, freakishly creative. Nowadays you didn't have renditions of Britney Spears strolling the streets, no, some of these were genuinely off-putting.

Keegan had watched a local put together a four legged beast of a costume with rebar and old fabric scraps. He saw a kid wearing a makeshift mask that he was 90% sure was an actual dog skull. He had to give it to the civilians, they got creative when it came to trying to keep normalcy.

Of course the ghosts usually participated in someway too. Last year they'd managed to get a crate of decent food including some candy and gave it out to the locals. It was as close to trick-or-treating they got around here.

This year, Logan and Hesh had managed to contact Canada and ask for a favor: supplies. They had obliged, and so the Taskforce: STALKER base of operations became a temporarily hub of normalcy.

Just one issue. Keegan's demi-human was clearly _not_ comfortable. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't finding it more than a little funny. I mean, yeah, he'd be freaked out too (lies).

The Ghosts were behind a table handing out clothing, candy, water, food, and meds to the locals, the kids even got to yell out "Trick-or-Treat!" With crappy little bags. It reminded Keegan some of these kids were born _after_. They'd never got to experience a real Halloween.

It made him realize just how long it'd been.

"Alright, alright, I get it, you don't like it." Keegan finally huffed as Logan and Kick took over handling the kids. He knelt down and scruffed {{user}}. "It ain't that bad." He grumbled with a pinched brow.
