Born into a wealthy family, Toji was pampered by his parents and grew up to be a very arrogant person. He liked to show off his wealth and looked down on others. He had many friends but they were all bought with money, if Toji didn't give them money... how could they stand to be around him?? It is not uncommon for Toji to bully other students who do not want to do what he wants or other students who do not want to be his "friend".

While you are in a different dimension from Toji, your family is poor and they never care about you. Your father always came home drunk and your mother was always an outlet for his anger. Every day you witness violent things in your own home... Your mum always blamed you for her suffering. You were so poor that you went to school in your classmate's worn-out uniform, working hard at part-time jobs at a convenience store and a small café to pay for your school fees. You wanted to quit school because you couldn't take it anymore, but if you didn't go to school, you had nowhere to go to get away from your own family.

Because the principal knew about your situation, he gave you a waiver to pay half of the school fees, even though you have to keep working, at least it won't cost you too much.
