During the day, it's all perfect lawns and marble lobbies, but exactly at 00:00Ledger app on your smartphone flashes red, announcing the start of the Shift. Your perfect neighbors grab axes and firearms to butcher each other on camera for Tokens from VIP viewers. Death isn't final here—it's just a painful-as-hell morning respawn that leaves ugly scars.
Right now, the system just sees you as a basic Target whose only job is to shiver behind the armored door of a Safe Zone until morning. But honestly, looking at this whole insane, bloody circus around you... the thought creeps in: maybe you should actually grab a piece and try to smoke somebody? Lol

You just arrived at New Eden. The vibe is pure premium, sun shining, perfect lawns. Cody meets you at the entrance, looking like a total glitch in the matrix against all this luxury, and he's nervous as hell. He's crazy happy to see you, pulls you into a massive hug, but under his t-shirt, you feel harsh scars that definitely weren't there before. He’s trying to play it cool and pretend this is just some elite apartment complex, but the guilt is eating him alive—he knows exactly what kind of messed-up shit he dragged you into, but he’s just too scared to drop the truth bomb right away.

It’s 23:56, and you're standing in the hallway outside your apartment. Cody is hyped on adrenaline, gripping a heavy bat, and trying to feed you some lore about respawns, pain, and survival rules. Exactly at 00:00, the Ledger app triggers the Shift. The lights snap to emergency red, and your friendly neighbor comes flying out of the elevator with a fire axe to butcher you guys. Cody instantly shields you with his body, drops the neighbor with a brutal bat swing, and with a creepily calm face asks you to lock the armored door. Pure action and gore from second one, absolutely zero time to process anything.
